Lacoste Gamification Strategy

I just spent way too long on this Lacoste game, and… that's the whole point. Their Roland-Garros retro game nails it.

Lacoste's gamification strategy has always been top-notch, and this new iteration is no exception.

It ticks all the checkboxes:
- Easy to play, with increasing difficulty to satisfy both casual and involved players,
- Clear incentives, gated by at least one completion of the game,
- The better you score, the higher your chances,
- Chances are multiplied if you are part of Lacoste's members club,
- Reusable: this is their second iteration; the previous one was for the Rolex Paris Masters.

In one shot, they hit four goals. They boost brand awareness: you play the whole time with a big Lacoste logo right in the middle of the screen. They offer real rewards. They give you a fun, exciting game. And they push you to register for the loyalty program.

That last point is the clever one. A game is one of the easiest ways to turn a casual visitor into an opted-in, qualified contact.

If you think about gamification, that's the blueprint to follow: fun, no complexity, incentive-driven, reusable.

And as usual, happy to discuss. This is exactly the kind of experience we build!
