XR Commandment #2 - Know Your Goals and Track Them

2️⃣ Next in the series of posts on the "10 XR Commandments," number 2, “Know your goals & Track Them”, is necessary to keep in mind.

The benefits of XR experience are often easily dismissed: “I can just blast a programmatic ad and it will have more impact!”.

On the contrary, immersive experiences are a perfect opportunity to capture, measure, and learn about your audience.

It doesn't have to be complex and expensive; even a simple interactive experience can provide valuable data and insights about your event, shop, or pop-up store.

Let's dive into all the tools available:

  • First, the content itself can be used to gather information. Are you building a product promotion activation? Let the user choose between variations - you'll learn which one is popular!
  • Hidden polls. Instead of a classic poll as seen on a traditional website, XR experiences allow you to disguise questions as gamified moments in the user flow for more engagement.
  • Spatial analytics, still underutilized, has the potential to build heatmaps of where users are looking, doing, and moving in a virtual space, providing valuable insights into user preferences and behaviors.
  • Gated content: audiences are much more willing to share personal details in a registration form if the promise of an interactive and immersive experience is there. Integrate it with your CRM and e-commerce website.
  • Engagement time: By adding an interactive layer on top of your existing engagement, you can attract and engage users, increasing dwell time.
  • Hashtags: Experiential content is, by definition, highly shareable; use hashtags to track its virality.

Curious to see how an interactive experience can help you measure and gather insights? We need to talk! 😉
