Philips Sonicare - Sonicare AR Smile Booth

Philips Sonicare co-sponsored a promotional campus tour with a 2.5m by 2.5m booth, often outdoors under a tent, and several stops running on the same day. The activation had to be genuinely portable, bright enough to read in daylight, and identical across every unit, with no technician on site.

The experience is built around deliberately stylized mouths. A webcam feeds a real-time face-tracking pipeline that maps the chosen mouth onto the visitor's face and follows it as they move and talk. On-screen prompts handle the two things that break face tracking in a crowd, standing too close and standing too far. The visitor picks a mouth, takes the photo, enters an email address and receives a branded image.

Six units were specified, sourced and assembled: 1000-nit screens with anti-glare film, infrared touch frames, dedicated PCs, HD cameras and lit surrounds, packed into flight cases for the tour.
