Martell - Martell 360 Portal

Martell opened a pop-up at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann for its Martell à Paris limited edition and wanted visitors to be able to walk through the house's history without downloading anything. We built the experience with the agency Et Si, entirely in WebAR so that the phone's own browser was the only requirement.

Scanning a QR code stylised with Martell's Swift emblem opens the experience and drops the visitor inside a 360-degree sphere built from the History and Heritage and Savoir-Faire illustrations in Martell's brand book. Turning through the sphere moves the story from the founder's house and the vineyards, through the making of the cognac, to the Gatebourse building and the Château de Chanteloup, with animated leaves, flame and barrels and a ribbon running continuously through the scene.

It worked on any smartphone, with no app to install, and was hosted on Martell's own infrastructure. It ran at the Galeries Lafayette pop-up, which was extended by a month past its planned two weeks, and was redeployed at the Mandarin Oriental and in Cognac.
