Simone Pérèle - Simone Pérèle Boutique Virtuelle

Simone Pérèle had opened its first stores under a new retail concept, designed with the architect Jeff Van Dyck to match the brand's repositioning. Rather than fly people to a store, the lingerie group wanted the concept explainable in a headset. Working with The UX Agency, we built a narrated virtual visit of the boutique for Gear VR.

The space was captured as stereoscopic 360 stills covering seven scenes: the anthracite façade and windows, the entrance podium with its ring display, the modular right-hand wall, the fitting rooms, and the lounge and till area. A recorded voiceover walks through each one, in French or English. In the fitting rooms the lighting cross-fades between a warm and a hard setting on the narration cue, matching the switch a customer can make in the real cabins.

Navigation is gaze only. Holding the cursor on a target for two seconds moves you forward, so the piece needs no controller and no explanation. The visit runs as a guided linear sequence first, then releases the viewer into a free mode where the same rooms can be revisited in any order.
